We Live by What We Eat, and We Die by What We Eat

The tree of the knowledge of good and evil leads to death, and the tree of life leads to eternal life

We live by what we eat, and We Die by what we eat but what can we eat to live forever? Keep the New Covenant Passover, to eat to live.

Eating the right foods can lead to a longer healthier physical life and depending on what we eat we could also come to die by having a poor diet.  What food can mortal beings consume to live forever? All human beings have one common problem; We all come to die. But as the saying goes. “Where there is a problem, there is a solution.” We Live by what we eat, and We die by what we eat. Death originated in the Garden of Eden when the history of mankind started. If death originated in the garden of Eden by eating the forbidden fruit. What can we eat to live? The way for human beings to live must also be found in the garden of Eden by eating the fruit of life. God gave Adam and Eve one command.

Genesis 2:16~17 And the Lord God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.”

Adam and Eve were tempted by the serpent and disobeyed God’s command. They ate from the forbidden tree (the tree of knowledge of good and evil) and through this disobedience they became sinners and eventually came to die, and the fate of mankind also came to die. Through the matter of eating, all human beings come to die but also, through what we eat, we can come to live. Did God not give mortal men a way to eat and live forever? In the Garden of Eden was another tree, the Tree of Life.

Genesis 3:22~24 And the Lord God said, “The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.” So the Lord God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken. After he drove the man out, he placed on the east side of the Garden of Eden cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life

In the Garden of Eden there was a secret for mankind to live forever. It was the Tree of life. If they ate from the Tree of life the fate of mankind would be different. God never forbade Adam and Eve to eat from the Tree of Life but after they sinned God blocked the way to the Tree of life so they could not eat of it and live forever. They were driven out from the Garden of Eden and eventually came to die. The fate of all mankind who were also doomed to die was sealed.

Romans 5:12 Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned—Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned—

The Bible tells us sin entered the world through one man (Adam) and death through sin, in this way death came to all men. But just like in the Garden of Eden there was a secret for humans to live forever, the Tree of Life. So, the Bible says.

Romans 5:15 But the gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died by the trespass of the one man, how much more did God’s grace and the gift that came by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many!

God blocked the way to the Tree of life with Cherubim and flaming sword. So, sinners could not go near it. If God blocked the way to the Tree of Life, then only God can open the way for sinners to eat from the Tree of life and live.

The reality of the tree of life is the Passover

Let’s understand about the Tree of life and it’s true meaning.

Matthew 13:34-35 Jesus spoke all these things to the crowd in parables; he did not say anything to them without using a parable. So was fulfilled what was spoken through the prophet: “I will open my mouth in parables, I will utter things hidden since the creation of the world.”

Jesus said He speaks in parables(a parable is a story with a hidden or secret meaning). He would utter things hidden since the creation of the world. Among the 66 books of the Bible, only the book of Genesis speaks of the history of the creation of the world. So, we must find out the secrets hidden in the book of Genesis about the Tree of Life in the Garden of Eden.

John 6:53-54 Jesus said to them, “Very truly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.

Jesus said “Unless” you eat the flesh and blood of the Son of Man you have no life in you. “Whoever” eats His flesh and drinks His blood has eternal life and He will raise them up at the last day. We must understand the Old Testament is the shadow and the New Testament is the reality. In the book of Genesis, it was the Tree of Life that gives eternal Life, but here in the New Testament it is the Flesh and Blood of Jesus, so by this we can understand the truth of the Tree of Life is a parable and the reality to this parable is that by eating the flesh and blood of Jesus we can eat from the tree or life to receive eternal life.

Many people today do not know how to eat to live. Let’s find out how we can eat Jesus’ flesh and blood, the reality of the tree of life to receive eternal life.

Matthew 26:17-19 On the first day of the Festival of Unleavened Bread, the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Where do you want us to make preparations for you to eat the Passover?” He replied, “Go into the city to a certain man and tell him, ‘The Teacher says: My appointed time is near. I am going to celebrate the Passover with my disciples at your house.’ ” So the disciples did as Jesus had directed them and prepared the Passover.

Matthew 26:26-28 While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take and eat; this is my body.” Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the covenant which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.

Jesus said the Passover bread is His body and the Passover wine is His blood. Through the ceremony of the Passover of the New Covenant, Jesus opened the way for humankind to be freed from the pain of death.

The reason Christ comes a second time

In the Garden of Eden, it was God who blocked the way to the tree of life. So, there is no one except God who can open the way to the tree of life. This proves Jesus is God. God Himself came to this earth to save sinners who were destined to die from eating from the tree of knowledge of good and evil by establishing the Passover. Let’s confirm this.

John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

2000 years ago, Jesus came to give eternal life to sinners by establishing the New Covenant Passover, in which He gave His precious flesh and blood to save sinners. However, the devil who hates the truth of the tree of life abolished the Passover in 325 A.D. at the Council of Nicaea. From that time and for almost 1600 years no one was able to keep the precious Passover. It means no one could receive eternal life because only God can open the way to the Tree of Life. The Bible prophesied Christ would come again to save His people in the last age.

Hebrews 9:28 so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.

When Jesus comes a 2nd time, what must He bring? It is salvation. The way to live forever is through the New Covenant Passover, the Truth of the Tree of Life.

There is only one who has come in this last age and brought the Truth of the Tree of Life, the Passover of the New Covenant. Only Christ Ahnsahnghong has appeared according to the prophecies of the Bible. He is 2nd coming Christ and has allowed sinners to eat and live forever. Therefore, Christ Ahnsahnghong is truly our God who swallows up death forever with the aged wine (Isa 25:6~9). He is our savior who brought the tree of life whom we have been waiting for.

Let us truly believe in Christ Ahnsahnghong and keep the New Covenant Passover, so we can all return to the eternal kingdom of heaven.
